Blessed

Time has flown by and believe or not but we have had one more baby!  Lila Jane was born October 22, 2016 ~ she is truly a little blessing and completes our family.  She is also a big part of the reason I have not posted in so long! But she's worth every second of my time, let me tell you <3. She is now 16 months old and hilarious.  She entered the world after a couple days of labour via emergency c-section.  So this ole bode has gone through a c-section then a VBAC then an appendectomy then a c-section!  And it's still kicking and feeling good ~ testament to how amazing our bodies truly are.  I thank God we had the team we did help Lila enter this world safe and sound.  In Lila's case (medically necessary - umbilical cord wrapped around her little leg acting like a bungee cord), it was not only medically necessary but the very reason she is with us today.

Again, thank you God.

Life just keeps pushing forward ~ two kids in school, baby at home, working part time, house, wife, life!  I got to tell you though, my perspective has transformed a lot over the last few years with the challenges I have faced, my family has faced.  I practice daily gratitude for my husband and my children from the moment I wake up.  The things that have happened in my life have changed me spiritually.  I am a Christian and my faith has really gotten me through some very big struggles.  We have settled in to our routines as a family, working together to figure out this parenting thing.  I am finally training again at Excel and it's nice to kick an hour to myself a few times a week!  Every day is a blessing <3 It truly is.

This is what I live for.  This is who I live for.  Blessed.
